Auburn Elementary's Mission Statement
Auburn Elementary will provide a secure learning environment in which each student is responsible for achieving progressively
high academic and social standards. As lifelong learners, students will adapt to the ever-changing needs of their families,
environment, and world.
The students will become more effective communicators, problem solvers, and decision makers with the support of the parents,
the Auburn Elementary faculty, district staff, and community.

Standard of Excellence History
Beginning in 2006, the State Assessment for Reading and Math was given each year to 3rd - 6th grade students. Adequate
Yearly Progress (AYP) has been met in both areas, every year.

SecurityAs per district policy, all exterior doors are locked at the start of the school day. Visitors must enter through the front exterior doors, pass through the main office, and are required to check-in and wear a visitor's pass while on the property. In addition, many security cameras exist throughout the premises.
